Competition Entry - From a Cole Mine to an "Updraft Pavilion" This landmark is a Updraft Pavilion. The pavilion is not only an event venue for traditional "Bergbaufeste", but also generates energy through the updraft wind effect. The landmark uses materials from the cole mining industry in a new context (e.g. the carbon for the carbon fiber). It will be a new symbol for the "Nachbergbauära" and it's technical progression in energy generation.
